16.01.2020

Magadan Fishery Company «Mag-Sea International» Ltd. and Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Facility (part of CSC) have concluded the Contract for the building of two crab vessels of the project 03141.

The General Director of «Mag-Sea International» Ltd., Mikhail Kotov and the General Director of JSC «Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Facility» Igor Vasko have signed the document. The laying down of the main vessel is planned for April 2020. Khabarovsk shipbuilders began to purchase metal for the building of these vessels in advance to begin building as soon as possible. The building of crabbers at the Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Facility was made possible by virtue of the implementation of «quotas for the keel» program due to stimulating the development of the fishing fleet in Russia, as well as supporting domestic shipbuilding facilities.

The purpose of crab vessels for the project 03141 is to catch crab and shrimp with traps and store the catch in chilled sea water with the follow transportation of the fresh product to the port. It is interesting to note that signed Contract is the first of several planned ones. Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Facility agrees contracts with other customers and continues to conduct the negotiations according to incoming applications. The building of crab vessels will allow to load the production capacity of the Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Facility for several years. At the present moment, the Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Facility is working on the building of a SES -50 and two sea tugs of the project 00440 for the Amur Shipbuilding Facility. Ship-repairing is rapidly developing.
